Two new pre-schools completed

Senahasa built two more pre-schools - this time in the Galle District.

The first has been built in Tittagala - the Singithi Pera-pasala. The Siri Kettarama Vihara temple houses the pre-school which was being run in the temple library. It is wonderful setting with the temple surrounded by paddy fields and tea estates.

Many of the children are Tsunami affected. Many lost their homes and their fathers lost their livelihoods as fishermen. Some lost family. New housing is also being built across the paddy fields and the children living here will also attend the pre-school.

The Unawatuna Pre-school has also been completed. It was being run in temporary accomodation. The children from this pre-school will probably attend the Unawatuna Maha Vidyalaya.
